As a silver plate shining from the sky and calling upon us, Contium’s third vinyl, an ultra-limited lathe-cut edition, is an invitation to let any rigid preconception or conviction collapse, and surrender ourselves to sound. Was there ever any firm land below us?
Is there any other possible destination than to be
in space forever?
Gravity was the illusion; our feet have never touched the ground. If all these beliefs are now in doubt, we might as well just hold on to the music. With each track, Contium creates an extraterrestrial code that we must decipher, a new territory that is alien and amicable, a hypersensory scenery for us to explore, guided by beats and riding on synths.
